Higher chance of dying within 1 year of Covid hospitalization: ICMR study –

 A recent ICMR study revealed a higher likelihood of mortality within a year after COVID-19 hospitalization. Notably, individuals who had taken a dose of the anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccine before infection had lower post-discharge mortality risks. Male gender and comorbidities also correlated with elevated risks.
