PyraMed respects the sanctity of a medical consultation. It ensures the presence of a doctor at both ends.

1. 1. D1 is able to decide as to the type of specialist best needed for the patient, because of their training and knowledge, thus avoiding frivolous consultations.
   2. D1 is also better able to identify the specific specialist due to the peer-information available to them.
   3. The specialist (D2) is provided the relevant and specific information from the patients’ symptoms and examination findings by D1 which makes this consultation very close to a regular physical consultation by the specialist.
   4. D1 is able to understand the course of management in detail and thus is able to continuously guide the patient even after the actual consultation.

Pyramed can be used by any patient but through their primary doctor who can apply for registration on Pyramed.

Follow-up consultations till 45 days after the original consultation are charged at a discounted rate of 60% if it is for the same condition and between the same D1 & D2 for the same patient.

The primary doctor (D1) usually enjoys long-term relationships and trust with the patient. He is able to provide vital examination findings to the specialist, is able to upload relevant investigation details and is also an excellent medium of communication with the patient.

As per the telemedicine guidelines the consultant is expected to determine the complexity of the case before offering telemedicine. The possibilities of errors in this assessment would be significantly reduced in case of a D1 being with the patient.

The D1 can also follow up the management protocol. the treatment compliance is likely to be much better and this will significantly improve the patient-response.

If for any reason you’re not able to avail your online consultation, simply ask your primary doctor (as he or she books your appointment and makes the online payment)  to reach out to us on support, and we’ll refund your money after checking with your primary and secondary doctor.
